Who publishes research
Research publications of the directory's experts: journal articles, working papers, book chapters and reports, matched to each expert's researcher profile. They show which experts publish on the launch Domains and where they work. A sample of 50 experts for now.
The rule follows the specification: a Domain needs at least 2 indexed works, the pipeline suggests it and an editor confirms it. A publication supports a Domain when it carries one of the research topics below and its title, abstract or keywords confirm it, or when it uses an unambiguous term (GDPR, antitrust, Digital Markets Act). Evidence counts works from every year, as the specification sets no date limit; the rest of the page counts publications since 2023. A paper published in two languages still counts twice for now. The confirmation matters: research topics are broad, and "Ethics and Social Impacts of AI" alone would give the AI Act to every machine learning researcher.
10 of the 16 experts found by name get at least one Domain, against 1 of the 24 found through ORCID. Those were picked at random and mostly work in history, biology, astronomy or migration law: under the rule "no Domain, no profile", most of them could not be published.
